Month end should be a review, not a rebuild.

Ledgerly codes every transaction against the client's own history, chases the missing receipts itself, and reconciles the ledger continuously. Your team opens a set of books that are already closed.

The work

Four jobs that fill a junior's week

Ledgerly does them continuously instead of in a panic on the 8th of the month.

01

Coding

Learns each client's chart of accounts and their habits, including the ones that make no sense but are consistent.

02

Receipt chasing

Texts and emails the client directly for anything unsupported, then reads the receipt when it arrives and files it.

03

Reconciliation

Matches bank feed to ledger daily. A break is flagged the day it happens, not five weeks later.

04

Query list

Builds the questions for the client as it goes, so the month-end call has an agenda before anyone opens the file.

Control

You still sign the accounts, so you still see everything

Nothing posts silently. Every coded transaction records the rule or the historical match that produced it. Sort the ledger by confidence and the ten things worth looking at are at the top.

It asks rather than guesses. A supplier it has never seen, an amount outside the normal range, a category that would change the VAT treatment, all of it stops and raises a query instead of picking the most likely answer.

Corrections stick. Recode something once and Ledgerly applies the reasoning to that client from then on. It does not quietly revert to its own view next month.

Your engagement rules hold. Thresholds, approval limits and which clients are allowed automated postings at all are set per client, by you, not by a default.
