Securement standard

Every load is tied down to FMCSA cargo securement rules, then to ours, which are stricter. Drivers photograph the finished load before they pull out, and the photos go straight into your shipment record.

  1. Aggregate working load limit at least 50 percent of cargo weight. We plan for 70.
  2. One tiedown per 10 feet of cargo, never fewer than two. Steel always gets chains.
  3. Edge protection on every strap that touches a corner, no exceptions.
  4. Re-check within the first 50 miles and every 3 hours or 150 miles after that.
